Intensive Service Programme

Your Financial Mentor will work with you to help you understand your current financial position. This will involve working through your bank statements with you to understand your income and expenses. They will make sure you are getting all the support you are entitled to and ways to get the most out of every dollar you spend.

Once you understand where you are, your Financial Mentor will help you think about your goals and where you want to be. Then, together, you can start planning how you will get there. Your goals might be to eliminate debt and save for something important or you might just want to manage your money better so that you know all your bills are paid and you have money for emergencies.

Once you have a plan, you can choose to join the Intensive Service Programme. This is when you assign your income or benefit to an account we manage.  Using the plan you developed with your Financial Mentor, they will ensure all your bills are paid, and you have money each week for food and personal spending.

You will meet regularly with your Financial Mentor so that you can talk about any changes to your plan and to keep track of your debts as they are repaid.
